Equipe Comp Front Bumper

Hard to find Equipe Competition front bumper with A-bar. To my knowledge this is still the last one in the US until Equipe starts shipping new product.

Purchased from Lucky8 last year:

http://lucky8llc.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=2008

Will fit D90s and 110s without AC. Comes with the recovery swivels and aluminum plate (not the steering guard). I will sell the steering guard if someone is interested.

Asking $900

More pics available upon request.

Going to a Husky10, synthetic rope, and simple straight bumper (Mantec or Terrafirma type).

Jonathan,

You should get a set of synthetic Delrin rollers from Viking for your new set up. I have a spare set. It would look nice in black on your rig. I would also recommend getting your synthetic rope from them. No affiliation, just like their products and Thor is a really nice guy.

Here's the roller description from Viking:

They are made from Delrin offering high strength, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance, and have a smooth surface to protect your synthetic winch line. The Viking rollers are 68% lighter than stock. .97 Kg (34.4 oz / 2.1 lb) vs. stock steel rollers at 2.4Kg (83.2 oz / 5.2 lb). Delrin is somewhat similar to lightweight alloys like aluminum. We call it the alloy of plastics because it has good machining properties like aluminum, it is dimensionally stable and very tough. The material is resistant to oils, chemicals, UV light and abrasion.

I'd be interested, but I am concerned about the rope getting pinched in the rollers (which I have seen at extreme angles).

I don't think it will, it sits pretty close to the radiator.

At this point I would rather sell sell the bumper and skid plate as a pair for $1200 as the skid plate is modified to fit the bumper.

Wolf, did you have to trim the grill or the panel it mounts to? If not, it should fit a NAS D90 with AC.

The winch on that bumper almost certainly wouldn't fit with AC.

This is the Comp bumper, it requires trimming of the grill and surround to fit snug against the front of the truck. Bit will not fit an AC truck unless you make extensions for it.

I second this recommendation! I've run Viking rope with a roller fairlead for years and just switched over last year to the Derlin rollers. Great company and great stuff!

Bump, $1600 for the package: bumper, steering guard, and winch.

I finally removed the bumper to install the prototype Wolf Stealth front bumper. The Equipe comp bumper is now $700 and includes the small aluminum "skid" as shown. I prefer not to ship, but it can be done at your expense.
