Edelbrock carburetor

This came off of my RRC that I converted to a GEMS 4.6. The truck ran fine and had no issues starting. This has been sitting in a drawer in the shop for the past two years, so I'm going to say condition unknown. I'm including the intake piece that was used to go to the air box and then to the snorkel.

$100 shipped CONUS

Dude that looks like a manual choke 750, way too much for a rover V8 if so. Perhaps that led to your GEMS conversion? Tuning a carb thats too big or too small for an engine isn't always easy, and with these edelbrocks it is damn near impossible.

I don't know anything about this carb other than the Range Rover ran fine with it. If it sat for an extended period of time it would take a little long to start, but under normal conditions it would start right up. The RR had a cracked block which is what led to the replacement. That, and it was a 3.5... My only carb experience is with the SU carbs on my old MGB, and that is very limited experience.

Hello Jimmy,

This post was from a couple of years ago...but it's not clear if your carb was sold. Is it still available?

Thanks

I think I ended up tossing it or leaving it at the dealership in Virginia. I'll find out.

OK DOK. Let me know as I'm thinking of converting my twin Stromberg setup back to the future...i.e. a GM or equivalent intake manifold with a Rochester or equivalent (Edelbrock) 4 bbl carburetor.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers.

I converted one of my 3.5 V8's to the eddlebrock and it ran awesome. Way more power than the dual carbs.
