Disco 200tdi engine/drivetrain

There was extra room in my container when I imported my exMOD 110 recently, so I decided to bring over a couple of bulky items from the UK. I was assured that this is a good working unit, but I haven't personally seen it run. It still had fuel dripping from the lines when I unloaded it. Mileage was 122,000.

This includes a radiator, intercooler, and all ancillaries, but I believe some of the piping between the rad/intercooler and the engine is missing. No oil cooler lines. Also included is the LT77 transmission and LT230 transfer case that you see attached to it.

$2500 plus shipping. If you or someone you know is going to the National Rally in Breckenridge, I'll hold onto it and deliver it to Breckenridge for free or you can pick it up in Golden.

If you'll separate the motor from the trans/transfer I'd be interested in the motor with flywheel/clutch. I don't need the rad or IC either.

I'd pay a decent price for the motor alone.

There is a grumpy old guy here named Bill (o2batsea) looking for a 300 - maybe you can convince him this would be just as good.

Doug, thanks for your interest. As you can probably surmise from the pics I've got a mess going in my garage now so I'd like to get rid of the whole shootin' match. If I can't accomplish that, then I'll take offers on just the engine.

Unfortunately it isn't as good for his application. I'm not sure how much trouble the 300tdi is to fit, but the turbo on the Disco 200tdi will hit the chassis on a 109. He should keep looking for a Defender 200tdi, that would be way easier.

This would be appropriate for a RHD Defender application, or a Disco.

I can't give you an exact quote but figure 800lbs and palletized dimensions of roughly 48x42x42. Plug that into www.freightcenter.com or www.freightquote.com or www.uship.com and see what you come up with. That should be relatively close.

Please note that I may already have this sold, but I won't delete the ad until the deal is firm.
