This is the winch bumper model.

Land rover makes one for bumpers that have a winch and one for regular bumpers. No clue what the difference is.

That was an older model. Neither the winch nor the non winch version has that bar anymore.

Not sure how old is your reference " Older Model " I got mine less than 2 years ago and those were the options.

Also I should have mentioned that the non winch does not have the inner angle at the mounting area that rest on the winch tray

Furthermore, mounting them on a Mantec winch bumper is an easy task, but not so straightforward with other similar looking bumpers

The style with the bar was discontinued before 2012.

I've attached the old style and the newer for your reference.

Both are for non winch bumpers.

Glwts. I like these things. I'm just not that hardcore, with regards to big bull bars, to think they're too spongy. I've got similar stuff on my '98 and love it. It's the oem look.

Just curious as to whether yours has the blanks/knockouts for the matching wrap-around bars. Those look great on defenders. Mall rated, sure, but my truck sees more streets than meets ;-)

Edit: answered my own question. It looks like a different A-bar receives the wrap-arounds. You can tell by the contour in the photo.
