Defender snow cowl / air intake cover

I have two brand new Defender snow cowls for sale. These are for RHD Defenders mounts to LH front fender. Fits all models all years. $50.00 (Cdn) each. Mounting hardware included. This is a plastic version of the all metal military developed variant. It flexes and bends rather than denting your fender when bumped.

Located in Ottawa, Ontario. Buyer pays shipping. Canada Post rates are about $20-25.00 Cdn to most continental US addresses.

I have one of these. there's another benefit as well that is reason for everyone to have these. I park under a pine tree, and this prevents pine needles and debris from falling through the intake and clogging up my heater plenum. This is how the heater intake drain gets clogged, which causes excess windscreen misting and rusting of your matrix.

Actual shipping costs depends on options, insured, signature, delvery confirmation etc. Cheapest is about $12.00. Delivery confirmed about $25. Signature and more $33 to $60 for 2 day.

Should be about $20.00 Cdn (or so). ABS plastic version, not metal wolf one.

I can post to your zip (11358) cheapest for about $10.00 Cdn. Seems to be about the same for most if not all zip codes in the US. Let me know.

Not a bad idea. Right now I'm appreciating the ram air effect of my raised inlet.

If I were to ship them both to the same address it will be a bit more, Canada Post web site says around $18.00. So $59.00 Cdn each. I won't know exact cost till I get to the post office to mail them so I am quoting a couple bucks extra to be safe.

BTW this is cost recovery I am just gettng my money out of this botched order. Will order correct ones for my Defenders once I sell these. Yes we could do Paypal. Let me know and I will confirm shipping cost for Paypal transaction.

Great to see you on D90, Kevin! Am back in Ottawa area after six years abroad - will have to rejoin OVLR soon now that you are The Man! My Zerostart coolant heater will finally be seeing some action this winter in the 110 again :-)
Cheers,
John

As you can see I have been around a few years (2013) but really only lurking and pillaging information. Just picked up a nice 2000 MY 110 XS CSW TD5 out of Germany only 100,000 kilometres on the clock. Super, super clean no corrosion motor purrs. Setting it up for expedition runs.

Please do join OVLR. We have a fairly active FB page if you want to check it out, but closed to members. Ask to join in and then join the club. We've had a very busy fall with several weekend camp out, off road runs.

Cheers

What was botched on the order? I can't tell if any are still available. I'm interested. How do you tell me the exact cost in USD? Shipping to 39705.
