"Defender Owner" Tervis Tumblers

I am thinking about getting some 16 oz Tervis Tumbler glasses made out of the remaining patches I still have. Is anyone interested in purchasing some of these with me? I think that they will be around $22 each plus shipping.

I will post a pic.

Okay, I am going to send them in to Tervis. I really would like to get an exact amount from everyone.
I will pay up front for these, so if you are not sure then don't PM me. Otherwise, PM me with how many you want. They will be the black and white patches. These should be pretty cool around the fire. Unlike a Defender, they have a lifetime warranty! So, if anything happens to them, you send them back and they send you a new one.

I am going to send these in, so PM me if you want glasses.
So far I have the following:
2 for akfisher
4 for caribsurf
4 for woldd90
4 for jbod77

And that is all. Speak up (PM) if you want to commit.

Cool idea, but is anyone else concerned about the Bisphenol-A in the polycarbonate of the tumblers?

I think the statistic is that you would have to drink from this tumbler 24 hours a day for 62 years for it to have any kind of long term affect. (I made that up, but I do think that this is somewhat the idea).

I agree with you that there is a big unknown about the precise amount of BPA that is required to futz up your health. According to the CDC the vast majority of people (93%) have some level of BPA in their systems. BPA is of greatest risk to fetuses and children (not a frequent user group of Tumblers).

The gist of my question was really about peoples reaction towards BPA when they are replacing containers (such as Lexan). I'm thinking about trail oriented water storage, bottles, cooking equipment etc. Are you switching to stainless, PET

Shawn, I missed out somehow. I'll take a set of 4 if someone bails, or if you can still add to the order. Thanks.
