They are not steel (in fact, you don't want steel as NO ONE will cut them). Most likely they are nickel.

Where would I go next to have a duplicate made? I just purchased a NAS D90 and only have one key.

Literally any decent hardware store or locksmith. I'd suggest staying away from Home Depot and the like...much greater chance of them screwing it up.

I had the wife run a magnet across the blade and it didn't stick. Not sure what it's made of but it is not steel.

You'd want nickel over aluminum anyhow. Dollars to donuts it's nickel.

If it's the oem which I'm sure it is, then it's nickel. Locksmiths won't cut steel because they use brass cutters.

Go to a locksmith, they have the means to properly match it and cut it. They typically have a robust supply of blanks. They even had a blank for my locking gas cap.

I have had some of these cut. You need to find somebody who is old school, I would look for a Medeco locksmith.

I'll take one.

I had a steel one cut by a locksmith a couple years ago and they charged me more because it wears down their machine - all good otherwise.
