defender a/c system parts...

I have basically what amounts to probably 90% of the a/c system from a LHD defender I have the evaperator assy and the under dash duct panel, I guess you would need an a/c compressor...condensor and whatever hoses you wan as well as the rec/drier...none of these have to be Land Rover items so you could get them very cheap..I dont have the lower cover or securing strap for the motor...hows $600 for everything pictured...plus shipping..

Having just installed an AC system, this is a steal. For another $500 you can get the other parts to complete it.

If I recall correctly the vent box is mounted by screws to the underside of the dash and the evaperator housing is the same..I don't think I have any mounting hardware but I am sure its just a matter of some screws.. maybe a 90 degree bracket or 2 at the most..paypal payment to sandrahack@rocketmail.com and I will get it boxed up and shipped by the weekend..

Does the AC have separate controls or do they integrate with the existing controls?

The a/c systems on all defenders are a completely stand alone system, it uses it's own fan and switches..

Barry, watched the Auburn/SC game. Got a lotta friends who went to SC but I rooted for AU. Got friends who went to auburn too. Was a good game regardless.

Chad

the game was a tough one to lose, but it's early and maybe we can turn it around. Clemson is almost like a sister to Auburn and Swinney is an Alabama boy so I kind of like what they have going up there. Still hurt though.

I will get back to you on the AC, I really haven't researched it very much and I want to make sure that I am not missing anything or that it will cost a lot more to complete.
