Defender 90 SW Roof/Cage full hardtop conversion

For sale is a complete SW hardtop conversion including brand new safety devices roll cage for a defender 90. This was taken off my truck recently. I had every intention of keeping it for a future project, but I am defender-less at the moment and still need to order a bunch of parts for my 110. Here are the details:

-Smooth D90 roof panel, was a new-take-off part from a late td5 truck, approx. MY 2006. This has no alpine windows but I have a set of new alpine windows with seals that are included. I preferred the look without windows but installing them is as simple as cutting the holes. Painted a few years ago in (metallic) Santorini Black- a late model defender/range rover color. The roof panel has a number of very small dents but is in overall very good condition.

-Hardtop sides with sliding windows. These were originally van sides that I cut out. The side windows were new-old-stock and I used a garrison outfitters "anti-rattle" window channel kit not long ago. Has tint on the side windows but could stand to be replaced. Also Painted santorini black. I think I have the rubber filler pieces to cover the rivets around the garage somewhere.

-Rear POE style liftgate. This is installed using galvanized series style upper hinges and I made a steel seal retainer for the bottom. This closes before the tailgate and is held shut by the tailgate. Includes gas struts. I also have a full door if the liftgate was a no-go for a potential buyer.

-Lesalle trim fiberglass headliner. This is in like-new condition with a few small flaws in the paint from shipping. This is both roof pieces, side window panels are not included.

-Safety Devices NAS SW style rollcage RBL1387sss. This is an exact replica of the original NAS D90 SW roll cage, minus the pads. This is brand new never installed- I purchased it from another forum member recently and it is currently located at another member's house in northern CA who has been kind enough to hang onto it for me. I will try to pick this up asap.

I am asking $4000 for everything. I will entertain the idea of shipping it but due to the large, fragile, and heavy nature of everything included, I would much prefer a local sale. I could potentially drive a reasonable distance to meet a buyer. I will try to get some updated pics of it now that it is off my truck. For now here are some of it on my truck. All parts minus cage located in Carmel, CA.

The cage is in Nevada City CA if that helps facilitate a sale for Mack. It's been stored inside in the basement.

Bump before trying ebay. The paint is good quality with epoxy primer and PPG top coat and clear coat. With a little polish it will be a mirror like finish. A black roof would look good on a variety of colors. Dog not included.

Would you part with the lift gate separately? I'm local, coins pick up in Carmel or Nevada city. On a different note, it there anyone that works on grey markers defenders around Nevada city?

Depends on the type of work. There are a ton of shops that will work on anything. If you're looking at installing the cage or putting a hardtop on that's not too difficult to do yourself. I have contact info for a guy who will work on literally anything and build you literally anything in the yuba city area(I think) but I don't have any idea what he charges.

Id like to keep the lift gate with the roof... At least for now. I don't have any info on rover mechanics, sorry.

Are you interested in selling the cage separately? If so, can it be shipped?

Thanks,
Greg
