They were badly split when I got this thing. The rubber is in shit shape, but I kind of figured that from the pictures.
So I am finally in the phase of my project to start thinking about mounting this thing. Its effin bent. I guess it was rolled at some point. Any ideas on how to straighten it?

My bad on the sideways picture. My computer keeps uploading them wonky.

I would bolt on one side and then rachet strap the other side (the side that was bent) into place slightly over correcting before bolting it down. I bet it fits fine in the end.

Well you can't say you weren't warned. All of the trucks he's represented have been salvaged and or wrecked and I wouldn't have expected much more from these parts. That said, hopefully you can bend them back into place, and the foam can hold up a few more years for you.

You could sort of see from the second pic in the original pics that the driver's side B pillar foot appeared to be out of whack a bit.

I was warned, but the transaction had already taken place. I'm ok with the foot being a little bent, I can press it back and I can repair the rubber, but I need to move the right side back inward around 2 inches, and hope I can do that and still line up the a hoop.

Thanks for the input.
I put a ratchet strap on it the other day and probably had 500lbs of pressure on it which pulled it in a little, not quite far enough. I think if I pulled it in and bolted it down it might distort my tub. Maybe with the w bar in place it will hold it all together.

See if Creed will honor his own word and give you some sort of credit for the clearly misleading description he provided you. You may also check with a body shop to see if they can straighten it, or reach out to user lobster here since he'd rolled his truck pretty good down a hill and was able to have the cage brought back to better than I'd expected.

That is why you need to over pull it. Come along or winch rope etc if the strap won't do it.
