I've picked up the rack from whom I bought it. The ladder has not been repaired as I originally thought. Taking pics in a few minutes and uploading.

Just to be clear, I'll only sell as a complete set since I do not want to be stuck with any parts that'll take forever to sell.

Pull up to my driveway cash in hand, I'll even help you install it.

Someone buy this before I install on my D90 and take it off the market.

Two offers came in at $1500 for the setup.

Think I'm going to hold out for offers closer to $1900.

1900 is a decent price. Do you have the backing plates and is the powdercoat in good shape?

Thanks, Barry.

I have the backing plate for the driver side, the odd-shaped one. It did not come with the driver side backing plate, but they really are just 1" bars with appropriately aligned holes.

I planned on going to OSH, cutting to size then painting them black and be done.

The powdercoat is in good shape which I was pleased with.

Javier

Hey Barry,

The problem is I have a custom/aftermarket tire carrier. In order to install both the safari rack ladder and the tire carrier, the latter (not the ladder) will have to be heavily modified. The mounts and locking mechanism will need to be removed, offset by a few inches towards the drivers side and refitted. I wish I would have taken note before I bought the rack and not made assumptions.

It's not too big of a deal since I have a shop that could probably knock it out in a few hours. If the rack doesn't find a new home, it will be worth doing this.

My D90 is friggin' bad ass as is and with the full rack installed, it'll look 100% complete.

That's kinda why I'm putting emphasis on selling the 110 rack.

If I still have it in 19 months, you've got dibs, so start saving $100/mo

Javier

Correction to my earlier post:

I have the backing plate for the passenger side. That's part of the confusion of owning a RHD truck as well.

Wow, these racks usually sell like hotcakes, some at much higher price.

Could it be true that no one needs this?

Sell it on ebay. I sold one that way after it failed to sell here.

Not interested?

It's just that with the half rack, you can use your kick butt tire carrier. And since that tire carrier is aftermarket, perhaps you wouldn't mind using an aftermarket half rack? Just a thought. I've always loved the look of the factory cage, I don't mind the factory tire carrier since I don't wheel anyway.

Too funny, Neil. Thanks for the offer, but can't entertain a trade at the moment.
