Would anyone know where I can get a bumper like that one?

I've been looking for a stock rear bumper myself. These guys have something still in development (to be released "this year") that might be an option in the near future:

It states those are only for VINs containing XA and onwards, which I think means 1998 onwards...in other words - it's not intended for NAS trucks.

I can't think of any reason why they would not fit a NAS, but maybe the way it is designed assumes features that can't be easily retro-fitted to a NAS truck.

Thanks for clarifying the XA thing. I just emailed them about fit and design, will let you guys know what I hear.

If anyone has any other leads to stock rear bumpers, don't be shy about sharing.

Connection points on the rear xmember itself should still be the same, it's just the underneath/bottom mounts that are different (ie they may be too long or too short). This can be fixed by a slight mod on the bumper itself I'd assume.

Charles used a NAS bumper on Janey, and made two "extensions" to tie into the cradle area. I'd assume a similar mod could be done the other way depending on how the SD bumper looks.

FYI, Safari HP has ROW rear bumpers without the hitch socket. And they can get the NAS version, but it's "stupid money".

Yep, told him that in his other thread - not sure which one he's checking now.

Today, I've reached out to Atlantic British, Rover North, Rover Down South, Safety Devices, SafariHP, and a few others. So far the answers I've gotten are "NLA" and no replacement with same setup (I.e. Same look + 2" receiver). Waiting to hear back from SafariHP. For once " Stupid money" is not scarring me -but- I might end up still no getting it!

Loic:

Can't you find a decent used one and have it sandblasted/painted or powdercoated?

That will be the next step. Apparently, I'll need to be very patient for this to actually happen since there are often rusty model up for sale and rarely good ones.

They were in the range of $2000 new when last available. For the longest time, no one wanted them and they could be had for $200-300.

I think I have a couple spares, but I am not selling.

Josh,
I hope this is not too much of a Hijack since your bumper sold:
Dumb me is always up for taking mine to the fab shop that makes the brake light bars, under tub supports and A bar bulkhead supports. I can see what they would charge for copies....if anyone is interested. So they would be new copies, semi-gloss black powder coated.
Who's interested? For runs of 7+ the fit and finish go up as the shop is able to recoup the cost of making jigs.

Also, if you could PM me if your interested rather than post...why because if I spend time running on my lunch break or trying to get the baby in the truck and run to the machine shop before it closes at 6:00 only to have someone on the forum all of a sudden take the interest that is generated and decide to do the same......well I just wasted my time. Not trying to be harsh or d*(k but I have no need for one and I would be doing this to mostly help forum members. What does mostly mean. I usually net about $20 for a fabricated piece from the shop which helps me put money back into all the crap I buy from everyone aahhhhhhh!!!!! I can quite and any time......

I will at the end of the PMs for interest post the number of people interested and the price point, that way if someone on the forum wants to run with the ball and can do it cheaper then by all means.. all the best to them as they would be helping out forum members as well.
