D90 Full Safari roof rack

I've been on the fence about selling my second, complete D90 roof rack. My plans were to put it on my Series truck and I must say, I think it looks nice on it. The only piece not seen here is the ladder, it just doesn't mount over the pass. side turn/brake lights.

http://www.roverpalooza.com/albums/A...2546.sized.jpg

I almost sold it last year, then pulled back thinking I could chop this up to fit my IIA. Well, it's been more than a year and I think it's safe to say it's not going to happen. At this point, I'm resolved to having a custom rear ladder made by Urban Offroad and mate it to one of his D90 baskets.

What do you get for the asking price of $2500?

- OEM SD basket
- OEM SD rear ladder, freshly powder-coated as of this morning
- OEM cross bars purchased from roverconnection.com
- OEM backing plate onto which the passenger side of the ladder mounts

The only pieces missing are some of the bolts and the backing bars onto which the driver side of the ladder mounts. You can buy the correct length steel bar, drill holes and have it powder coated. I can buy, cut, drill and spray them black for another $50 and/or the SS bolts for another $50 so you have a 100% complete kit.

Honestly, the rack was slightly damaged in a Target parking lot, but I've had the ladder straightened out to match factory mounts. The basket itself was not damaged in the incident. In fact, this complete setup was on my D90 for about a year. When I found another complete set locally, I replaced it with the new, cherry set and the holes I had drilled on my truck aligned perfectly.

One last thing, I'd prefer local pick up. Shoot, I'll even help you install it in my driveway if you wish. If you really want it and you require shipping, it would be at your expense. I am not set up to ship something this large (packaging, crate, etc.) You're welcome to contact Derek at Urban Offroad and work out a deal with him. Pay me for the rack, and him for shipping services. It obviously doesn't have to be Derek if you know someone else in the LA area that can ship it. They'd just have to pick it up at my place.

Thanks,

Javier
