d110 d90 rack for sale

Sorry, i had this in the vehicles section...I need to sell this rack, so I can buy one that is a bit smaller... (for obvious reasons if you look at the pics)...
starting out at $1000 and will work from there... I am located in pikeville ky, and will do what I can to help get it shipped, ups is the only company with a local office...
I have a '90 rrc (pictured) and may be open to full or partial trades for upgrades... gears, lockers, axles, winches, bumpers, sliders... other things considered too, hey it won't hurt to ask...

I know this is my first post, so you can check me under atvsmurf on dweb, lrr, lro and possibly a few other sites...
I have heard that it is for a 110, but someone said a 90, let me know which...
the rack measures 82" long total length and 55 wide 8 tall... if you would like more pics or measurements, just ask... as far as condition, i have tried to capture any scuffs in the pics, any rust is minimal and only surface... it also includes the wire floor in the last pic. I have walked on it without noticing any flex... and I weigh 240 lbs, thanks, john

that's a good looking '90, I own an '83... I'll try to put up some pics.

anyway I like that rack, but i'm afraid I don't have much to trade... but i'll mention them anyway.

I do have 2 or 3 axle shafs, i think 2 long and 1 stub (front axle); 2 a/c compressors( one was used as an air comp. for airing up tires) and also the fanunit that sits up under the pass. side dash;air tank from a lwb.

4 new air springs( you obviously don't need these)... I know i have something else, i just have to check the crawl space.

i thought i would hang onto the bars, then i can just get a small basket type setup... but for the right deal they could leave.... in other words, i am not too attached to them...

Thats a D-90 rack - you can tell by the position of the mounting points. 110 has 2 in the front, 2 in the middle, and two in the rear. D90 has 4 in the front, 2 in the rear. Dimensionally I would assume they are compatible, but I wouldn't know unless I measured them, which I have not.

This is the first time I see one of these D90 racks on a RRC. The purists will disagree, but I think it looks bad-ass. Have some better mounts made with proper mounts, and it would really complete the look.

here are some more measurements... the total length is ~82" starting from one end, with the first cross bar at 5" with each following bar spaced at ~18 1/4" intervals... with a total of five bars running across from side to side... the width is ~55 1/2" with the first of four bars running the length of the rack starting at 5" with each bar spaced ~15 1/2" apart... there are six mounting tabs with two on the first bar (5 1/2" from the end), two on the second bar(~24" from the end) and the final two on the fifth bar(~77" from the end) maybe this paint pic will help with the description...

and as far as mounting on the thule, I currently have it mounted on my yakima load bars with u-bolts... so it should work on any typical rack setup, regardless of distance between them... the mounting tabs will probably only work on a factory typ setup, the u-bolt setup should enable it to work on any type of load bars...

do you know where to source or do you have the rest of the rack? Meaning the attachment points needed for the rear of the rack. Looks like a shirt ladder on the right and a longer ladder on the left that attaches the rack to the rear of a d90?. Intrested but need to be able to source rest of the parts. How far r u from Knoxville or Nashvillle?
Thanks
Keith

The rear ladder on a 90 is one piece that has a connector at the top, and I know that steven (safarirover) has a couple complete set-ups for sale. They aren't bargain basement, but there's no real reason they should be - and I think his are NOS.

However, WRT this rack, its probably an easy adaptation for a 110, and I know that Susan at Park City is looking for one. Probably the best way to marry this lonely rack up with a home is to put it on a rack-less 110, since it doesn't require all the other parts that a 90 does.

Keith,

Urban Offroad sells the ladder alone, http://www.urbanoffroad.us
The mounts over the driver/passenger were available at http://www.roverconnection.com . That's where I bought mine. I'd recommend stainless steel bolts all around. Even in CA, the black, steel M8 and M10 bolts rust like a mofo.
