D110 300Tdi Rear AC unit - NEW

New rear AC unit for 110 300Tdi as manufactured by Elite with PDF copy of installation manual and original box. Purchased it a few years back and never installed. Photo is stock as unit is packed up at Cityside Garage.

I just found out directly from Elite that this model is no longer manufactured.

Hey Scott - I think this thing genuinely doesn't work with the d90 because it requires a fair bit of space in the wheel well behind the rear wheel.

The manufacturer is the same as those who made the 97 system, but I don't know of a rear AC that works with the 93 style in-dash system.

That is fine...I was truly kidding, but it would be really nice if there was something like that for the 90's.

Follow-up Post:

Crap, I was hoping that would just parse to put the smiley in the message. Either way, we need some tongue smileys.

You use the Tdi one and make your own connections at the front lines to make it into a "V8 kit".
Vintage Air in TX sells the parts needed to make the connections (T into your existing lines).

I am putting my name on the list if anyone backs out as well. This would be a must for the kids.

So if they are not making them anymore any ideas on an alternative product?

Yup. I actually just e-mailed them and got a response they no longer are making these.

Here is their response-

Hello Tyler

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we no longer supply the rear AC kits that were designed for the 300 tdi defender, this is due to a drop in demand since the 2007 model change.

Best regards
Angela
