D1 frame FREE

So this is sort of a feelerish thing...

I'm going to have a D1 frame leftover from parting this 97 in the coming weeks. Would anyone want it?

I don't really want any money for it, just come pick it up from me in Frederick or Rockville.

So is there interest?

If someone is interested in it as a trailer you might want to come up with a "package" price that includes the rear axle housing and suspension still installed.

What does the rear cross member look like on one of these?

Not a bad call..

So if someone wants this frame with "trailer package" (That's full rear suspension untouched) $100.

I'll bring this back to the top when I remove everything down to the frame (except rear suspension) and then we'll see if there is interest. Otherwise it's going as a freebie.

Cross member is welded IIRC. Can't picture it right this moment but I'll post a pic this afternoon.

Who wants to make a trailer?

D1 Frame w/ Rear suspension attached & axel casing

Anyone who wants this feel free to come pick it up, I can assist in loading. If you want to offer a donation to me that would be excellent, but in interest of getting it moved it's up for grabs for FREE.

Currently located at 5831 Buckeystown Pike Frederick, MD 21704.

Great condition, only area of concern is pictured (front crossmember area). Rear bumper attached as well.

PM if interested. Would like to see it gone in the next 2 weeks, so no promises on holding it for more then a few days if interest arises between more then 1 person.

Blake.
1. Any luck on shipping my steel wheel out?
2. Do you want to part ways with one rear hub and spindle assembly?

Ha! that has less rust in that area than the D90 frame I used for my trailer, and yours has the longer rear overhang so would be a good fit for a 109" or 110" based trailer!

I dunno if will be of any use for the 109 2A-to-wild-ass-mashup conversion project, but it might be worth fooling with. I can pick it up any time on one of my boat trailers. perhaps I can enlist Mr Bobeck to assist in lifting.

Follow-up Post:

Hmmm. On closer inspection of the pics it looks more or less the same as the old Loob frame. i already have enough of those!

TO THE TOP!!!

If someone doesn't come get this soon I'm gonna have to take it to Ski Liberty to use as a feature in the terrain park! (Along side the body that is already up there and being built)
