D-90 Hard top for sale

I just bought a 1997 D-90 in Austin, TX. It came with a hard top. I'll never put it on. Looks like it has three main parts. One of the side panels has a ding. Looks like it would be fairly easy to repair. I have all hardware as well. I can send pics this weekend to those interested. You guys know better than I do what this might be worth, so make an offer if interested.

Thanks.

You're in Austin? Come to one of our Texas Rovers meetings. The SCARR rally is this weekend if you're free.

As for the top, I'll be happy to look at it for anyone on the board.

I've been trying to find a decent, somewhat close and reasonably priced fiberglass hardtop since I bought my D90 - almost three years ago.

I'm not sure how economical it would be to get the top from TX to CA (LA area), or to get my truck there to fit it.

PM me if you have a price in mind & also if you have a suggestion how to inexpensively get the top to Los Angeles...

Ron, I should have bought your D90 when I had the chance, it had the top on it already.

Shipping tops

Ron,
I was afraid of shipping my stationwagon top and cage when I bought it so I flew to Boston, rented a Penske box truck and drove it back 8.5 hrs to Annapolis. It cost about $750 but everything arrived with no damage.
Was it worth it ? Not sure, but I had peace of mind. Did the same thing when I found Sw doors-went and got them.

The first fiberglass top I bought arrived as a pile a useless pieces - lost over $500 in that deal. DHL never reimbursed for the actual shipping cost either.

The second top I bought from Ron Peppard on this board arrived in great shape. He did a great job packing it up, so if anyone needs some tips give Ron a shout. - Lou [95 D90 - Greeny]

Is this top still for sale? Am in Austin and very interested. I have one located in CA and one in NC but would much rather get local. If you still have it, assuming good condition as described, am seriously offering $1500 now.
