In any case I'm REALLY looking forward to the arrival of my SD rack tomorrow!! (thanks ECR)

I'll have to see how I feel about the basket once I get the whole thing installed. I might try to pawn off the basket and get one more to my liking.
Mine just got here on Tuesday... (I'm in Canada) The box was huge!! It took four of us to move the crate off the delivery truck.

Jonathon,
Would you sell the crossbars seperately or make up another set? Looking for some for a custom roll cage. What are the specs on the steel that you used?

I do sell the cross bars separately, but they are expensive at $300 a set. The feet are what's expensive - $150. I use roughly 12ga (.0165 wall), 1 1/2 round tube steel. The feet are C&C machined steel, not cast.

I hope that was a typo! 0.0165" is about 4 times thicker than paper :-)
12ga = .105"

The right side attaches to the top pivot for the tire carrier on the STs, then to the rear crossmember on the left side. If you send me a pic of your bumper I can let you know if it will fit. On your SW, you'd have to drill some holes for the right side mount.

This particular rack is sold, but I am manufacturing them now. I can't confirm it'll fit on a SW, but I have a customer coming down with a SW soon, so I'll be able to test the fit then. I'd hate to ship one to you, only to find out it doesn't fit for some reason. Shipping should be around $250-$350.

Shoot me a PM or email to wolffabricationATgmailDOTcom

Good job. I've been thinking of making my own version of the SD rack, but now I learn that ECR may be bringing more in and you have a great looking setup at a good price. Hard to justify building my own with your pricing. I see that it's 1 3/4" dia, but what gage and type tubing do you use?

Follow-up Post:

Sorry about asking for specs twice, kinda new to the forum thing.

It's actually 1-1/2" tube, .1165 wall, which is roughly 12ga I beleive.

Jonathan - did you ever determine if your racks are compatible with the Rockware tire carriers?
