Commemorative aluminium LR badge

Hi all,

I'm having a shop fabricate a couple of these badges for me for my Series and my D90.

Would anyone else be interested in pick one up, so I can ask him to make a batch?

He messed up on the year, he's making with 2016 and not 2016.

He also has the Defender badge available, though I myself am not crazy about the font.

Any interest in either?

I like the badge too.
Is this meant to be attached to the rear of the vehicle? It is missing the rivet holes (I assume they will be added in production?).
Iím interested.

(Also not a fan of the front font)

What's the price point on the land rover badge?

Why not just buy a real Heritage badge?

The only thing I don't like about the heritage badge is that it erroneously has the 2015 end-of-production date. The last Defender rolled of the assembly line on Friday, Feb 5, 2016.

I found the 2015 badge shown above on eBay for about $20, which is more than half of what he's charging me.

With this info, I'm thinking of passing on having him make me one that says 2016.

The one that is on eBay is NOT a grill or rear door badge. I bought one and after the fact I realized it is smaller than the grill badge that has rivet holes. The eBay one looks like it was from the dash of an adventure series defender. FYI... I?m game for a grill badge with rivet holes and the dates.

Also, a heritage badge is ridiculously expensive on the internet. North of $200 last time I looked...

I can have them made by Friday and ship them out shortly thereafter for $65 + shipping.

Let me know if you're interested so I can have them made.

I'll probably go ahead and have a couple made for me based on what you mentioned, Steven.

I'm definitely interested but can you confirm they will have rivet holes?
