Unfortunately Coleman's warranty is only good to the original purchase, and does not transfer. I'd be a buyer otherwise.

I ran one of these non-stop for six months and it was fine. It did ice up occasionally and in de icing i managed to break some of the plastic gaurds on the insider to the fan, but it still works great.
