In i believe 1998 they updated it to have the traditional correct LR oval on the pad and they also much improved the quality of the rubber used as well over the older one which was used for only a few years.

95 they started using the oval on nas trucks

I don't think the oval was on the pad, just the Land Rover part. The oval looks to be a newer version.

Actually in 95 they had Land Rover with no oval. The 94 trucks were just plain nothing rubber as you already know. The ovals came in 1998 or 1999 from what I have been able to discover.
