ARB lockers: GBR 3rds 3.9 gearing

As the Title says GBR built 3rd members with 3.9 gearing and ARB lockers. Approximately 4,000 miles since rebuilt by Great Basin Rovers in '06. Asking $2000.

I also have a pneumatic switch setup built by Steve S at Power Tank. Switches, Relief valve, barrel regulator, lines and the male valve for the Power Tank for an extra $175

Located in southern Vermont, although I will be driving to Washington DC in early July and could meet up along the route.

Hey Greg,

How's this gearing work out with 285/75-16's. Does this bring it in a little lower than stock overall? How come you are selling them? No HD axles to go with them?

Scott,

As I am sure you know, the gearing in a stock D90 is 3.54 gears and 265/75 tires (I think that is right). Running the 3.9 gears with 285/75 brings you back to pretty close to the stock ratios. I think I read that somewhere before too. I bought these about 2 years ago with the intent on installing them in my 90 but never had the chance. And now that I will be selling the 90,(with the 110 in my garage taking all my time and energy) I really don't need these anymore.

No HD axles, just the 3rds with ARBs installed.

Greg

With 3.9s and 34 Trexus on a Disco my speedo was correct again so I assume that was close to stock Granted the D90s have 1.4 t cases and start with a bigger tire That being said I would say you would be close to stock

I didn't realize you were building/fixing a 110 if you ever need a hand feel free to drop me a note. I'm only about 1/2 hour from you it would be good to know a local guy with the same type of truck.

Eric,

That sounds great. You may get to see it at the August event, if I can make it. And, if the 110 can make it!

Either way, we should get together sometime.
