Plastic I believe someone else on here would know better. Not near it now, certainly not metal.

Hi, Ben-

It's plastic as all of this type are. Are you sure it's a LR factory part? I thought the factory ones came with the lower venting/mesh installed, whereas the aftermarket ones came without it unless specified.

I just bought one of these from LR Direct in the UK (an aftermarket one), and it looked identical. The photo online showed it including the vents, so I was disappointed when it arrived wrapped just like that one without the vents.

Genuine would have vents. They are riveted in but if this is new it can't be genuine. No reason the vents would be drilled out.

Purchased as OEM, paid significantly more than what the cheap ones on eBay uk go for. OEM is supposed to come from the same factory..
