A/C unit off a 95 D-90. Great condition. It was included in the deal when I bought my Defender last October but I never installed it. $1100 + shipping

Do you know if this will work for the 97 D-90 4.0 engine?

Okay, special June deal: the $1100 + shipping price includes the compressor and blower which are not pictured. I can send them or post them if anyone wants me to.

Not sure if it will work with your 97. I'm sure someone on this site can help us out with an answer.

This used to be JimC's A/C unit. he sold it to another fellow D90 user who kept it in storage and then sold it to me, and now Chris has it.

Good Luck with the sale Chris, it is a great price for a complete unit

Great. Let me know if you find any info on the compatibility of this A/C unit and the 97 d-90 engine. I will keep researching to see if I can find an answer as well. Thanks.

THE COMPRESSOR AND Ac lines will not work on the 97. Bolt on that is.. I am sure you can modify the lines and pickup a 1994-99 d1 compressor (same as 97 d90) and make something of it.

Also, all 97s with or without AC, have the AC compressor.

my main concern on the 97 is the lines... I just built and installed a 4.6 engine serp belt for my 94..I like the serp set up but cant find anyone to modify the ac lines... 2yrs ago every hydraulic line shop around did them..now no one will.
