It is pretty straight forward removing the A/C. It takes a few hours to get everything out, but overall I would say it is a relatively easy job.
For the most part, it is a "self-contained system" that only attaches to the vehicles wiring system in a few spots. For me, there were some power connections to the alternator, a connection in the fuse panel area and 2 wiring harness connections right behind the engine in the engine bay. Besides those connections (which I think all '94s are pre-wired for) you would never know it was there.
What I did is disconnect everything that was interconnected to the A/C system. It was easy to tell what was part of the system because all of the wiring was zip-tied in (from the dealer).
*** Make sure to take it to a shop to have the system (freon?) "drained" first. **
As far as parts needed to finish the job, you will need:
- blanking plug for the dash hole where the pipes went thru the bulkhead
- kit trim panel to cover the ECU in the passenger side footwell
- full length passenger side floor mat
- full height fuse panel cover for under the dash.
