I have a set of five Walker Evans Racing Beed Lock wheels they are 17x 8.5, black on black. These wheels retail for $2500 not including shipping, they are $400 a pc plus the hardware and powder makes them really expensive. I bought them with 35" tires and are way to big for my truck, I thought with minor lift that they would fit, but was wrong. Questions please call 919-637-0617, will ship probably be around $100 for all five. Local pick up preferred, the tires are already spoken for. They require the same lug nuts as the alloy wheels, FYI. They come with five wheels five rings and all the hardware.

Why not just put some 33's on them and call it a day? Way too nice of wheels to take a loss on them. GLWS.

Beed locks aren't friendly with smaller tires! At highway speeds I should say.

Why don't the 35's fit? Mine work with 2" OME, taller bump stops and some trimming of the wheel flares. If you want to run 35's I think they aren't that hard to get to work with a Defender. Hell, I think it's a beginner size for the guys on Pirate.

Haha, for sure my 200tdi is not liking me very much. You are 100% right 2" lift and trimming will get them under the truck. With a 200 you are talking about putting new gears, and I want it to run well both on the trail and the road. Getting them under isn't the problem, doing the whole set up right means longer shocks, shock towers, new front and rear radius arms, lengthening both drive shafts, panhard adjustments and a few other. Talking a few more grand, I am not willing to do that. I just want to sell them an move on. They are killer wheels though that is for sure!

Tires are already gone? I have 35's on my truck, but they are 15's... Hmmm. I love the WE wheels.

Gotcha - even with the V8 I needed to regear. I still think you don't need that much lift and I haven't done anything like longer shocks, towers, radius arms, etc.

Surprised you didn't mention HD axles. That was my main concern and I am halfway there. And hoping to get the front beefed up soon. A big spend but one that might even need to be done with a set of 33's.

Forgot to mention in my previous post how sick those wheels look. I think Lane had a set on his 90 with 37s that looked really good and worked well too.
