4.6 ECU Chip Dave Ellis Race Engines

This is Dave Ellis Race Engines 4.6 "300bhp" chip for the ECU.

Never installed or removed from packaging. Shipped from UK for my 4.6 but I am doing a diesel conversion.

Originally $513........will sell for $400 including shipping.

Have an ECU and MAF for sale as well and an overbored plenum from DERE as well.

What happens if we just put that on a stock 4.6 n stock intake with a 4.2 cam, would that work?

It would cause an irreversible fission reaction leading to a nuclear detonation.

Truth is I don't know how any of these chips work but I think at minimum they remap the air/fuel mixtures to improve performance at the cost of emissions/mpg. I think improvements in cams/air intakes, etc, further add to the performance.

Is this for any 4.6 or specifically the 14cux or Gems?

I am doing a diesel conversion so I am going to try to sell the 4.6 engine with the radiator as a package as the engine only has 1,000 miles. If not I will part it out separately.

John, are you doing the diesel conversion yourself or having a shop do it in the city?
