when are you going to pull the engine?

No other parts are for sale (I my sale a set of boost wheels & 30mm spacers if engine gets sold)

Jon
Block & heads are rebuilt
No on the cos-cast block (I think)
Make offer on just the engine
since the truck runs and drives I'm keeping it in the truck till it's sold

Would the 4.6 bolt up to an R380 Trans? Is this still available? Was this engine in a Disco? I find myself in need of another engine as I have just learned that there's hardly anyone who will rebuild the 3.9!

I had the 3.9 rebuilt in my 110. Now seems dumb to have not bought a 4.6 but at the time there was a difference in cash I couldn't swallow. In my 90 I have always been happy with the 3.9. Never felt it needed more.

Yes the engine is still available. Yes you can bolt it up to a r380. The engine came out of a Range Rover and it's in my 95 Disco. You can make me an offer on just the engine. I might let it go for around 3K.

Mark:

After much consideration, I'm going to pass. Sounds like a sweet power unit, but not really what I'm looking for.

Free bump!

Paul.

Were top hat sleeves used on the rebuild?

I just looked at the previous posting dates. Huh?
Looks like an old post was resurrected.
