4.2 with about 10k since rebuild by Will Tillery

I am looking to sell the 4.2 removed from my 94 D1. This motor was purchased from Will Tillery for $2700 only about 10k ago. When it was ordered, a cam and double roller timing chain were part of the extra expense. Since the rebuild, it has only had amsoil synthetic in it. Absolutely no engine leaks. The engine is set up for a manual transmission with a clutch plate and cover still in place which were new when originally installed. It comes complete with power steering pump, headers, New magnecore 7mm ignition leads, distributor, etc.

Th e engine was only removed cause I got the chance to own a 300tdi...

Located in KC, MO.

I would like to get $1200 plus actual shipping cost or local pick-up. Open to offers though.
Thanks
Frank

Like it matters if its tuned. What's the mileage on the bottom end.

I was under the impression it was a full rebuild but I do not know for sure. I do not know the history of the engine prior to the rebuild as it was shipped to me from Tillery. All I can say is that it runs perfectly with no known issues with plenty of power. Has no leaks, and everything is clean other than a bit of dust (dirt road driving). The valley pan gasket, heads, rocker covers, sump, everything is clean and oil free...I am looking for a couple pictures I took of it to post

Hopefully these pictures show the engine in sufficient detail.

IDK how it can be a full rebuild when 4.2 pistons have been NLA for many many years, but that doesn't mean Tillery wasn't sitting on spares.

You are probably right...I was just under that impression. All I can say is that it runs perfectly, burns no oil, and has no leaks...

Thanks for the information
