300TDI Fully rebuilt, with fully rebuilt Ashcroft autobox and transfer case

Hi everyone, this is our first post as ECDoutlet, I'm Elliot, the ops manager at East Coast Defender. We have lots of take off parts from our projects here in Florida, I want to be able to give you guys a chance to see them and maybe get some crucial parts that you need!

So first up we have a fully rebuilt 300TDI from a Defender that we built last year. It has been removed as the customer wants a power upgrade so we are now fitting an LS3 for them.

This TDI was professionally rebuilt a little over a year ago and has probably done around 4000 miles since it left us. As far as I am aware there are no problems with the motor. I drove it before removal and it felt just like a TDI. It comes with mounts, the fuel filter and the radiator and intercooler in their cage. The back of the motor is set up to run the auto box. The 300 is also running AC, with the correct bracketry and tensioners.

The motor was built by Duncan at Land Rover Imports, 200tdi 300tdi 300 200 tdi land rover defender conversion engines

The transmission was professionally rebuilt by Ashcroft transmissions and was brought over as a kit. In this sale all that will be included is the autobox, torque converter, and cooler lines. I need the D1 shifter and the auto console for another project.

Ashcroft Transmissions

The transfer case was also professionally rebuilt by Ashcroft at the same time, shifters are included. 1.410 Ratio

Ashcroft Transmissions

The transmission kit alone cost over $5000 with shipping from the UK.

I am hoping to get around $7000 for the full kit. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

I can't recall what ratio the box was but it was advised by the guys at Ashcroft as the best for an auto 300TDI.
In theory, you could walk over there and look at it.

Elliott, GLWTS.

For others, Elliott is a good guy and true to his word. I would not hesitate to buy from him or ask him any question you might have about what he might be selling.

Thank you both! I appreciate it. We always have old parts, especially from 3.5 V8's, 2.5 diesels, both turbos and none.

It makes me wonder how many 2.5na's are just hanging out in dark corners as it gets easier and more popular to convert here stateside. Not to mention the 300tdi hitting its age...
