300TDi for sale

I have a low mileage 300TDi for sale. It is suppose to only have about 50k on the ticker. It's clean and shmeckle free. It was going into my kid's '90 RRC with a ZF but I'm fitting a GM LT1 instead. Screw gas mileage and hunting for diesel. It's been sitting in the garage collecting dust. The asking price is $4500. Hit me up. A couple of pictures are found at

Free of shmeckle!
That's reason enough to buy it!

Many words describing the same thing. Maude Lebowski says it best in a NSFW type of way:

Good luck with the sale of the motor.

Schmeckle ?

According to yiddish websters, schmeckle (pronounced schmeckel) is a very general term that refers to a sticky and or gooey matter stuck to or residing on the surface of something that should otherwise be clean.

When my daughter was in 3rd grade and one of her classmates dropped the piece of hard candy he had in his mouth onto the dust covered playground... My daughter held out her arms to the group that were interested in seeing the dirty candy and blocked them saying: "don't touch the candy, it's covered with schmeckle".

Other similar derivatives are smeckley (which usually refers to dead bugs hard stuck and dried on the windscreen). Then there is "a smaill schmecle" or just schmecle which notes a little serving of anything the conversation is focused on. "How about a schmecle of port?" - about a shot of port wine.

In the north east, particularly in places like Great Neck, NY, a similar term takes on a sinister definition that refers to body fluids only discharged during sexual activity. The same term also refers to the male genitals or penis, smeckie.

Now you know what I know!

My favorite story was when my daughter was in 3rd grade and one of her classmates dropped the piece of hard candy he had in his mouth onto the dust covered playground... My daughter held out her arms to the group that were interested in seeing the dirty candy and blocked them saying: "don't touch the candy, it's covered with schmeckle".

In the north, particularly in places like Great Neck, NY, this tern can take on a sinister definition that refers to body fluids only discharged during sexual activity, but I am no expert on this usage. I believe the closest sounding term to this is smecklee.

Now you know what I know!

I thought that was schmegma...

Schmeckle ?

Schmegma is a general term often used in the medical community to note a thick gooey body discharge.
I think...

Yeah I grew up with schmegma being, um, "that" body fluid. Because schmegma was what you find inside a shmuck, which is a rubber.

I was over at Mark's and the 300TDI looks to be in good condition.

I hope you left it that way.

Up in my neck of the woods we just refer to it as a "soiled state".

Good deal for the motor and I have passed the info along to some that are looking.

Mark, I may be interested, now that I know what it doesn't have. Is that price for the whole deal- tranny, cooling, etc, or just the engine?
I am trying to sort out a 300, and may take yours for an immediate fix, and rebuild the one I have, though I cannot make mine mimmic the supposed issues...
Thanks

Mark is out in MO, so you might want to PM him on the engine.

I'm bumping this ad. The 300TDi is complete except for a/c compressor. There is the ZF HP22 built by Ashcroft for the 300TDi. It includes the torque convertor. 0 miles. It has never been installed in a vehicle. Both are bolted together at present. I'm asking $6k for the combo firm. Will separate but prefer to move as a set.
I've also got lots of RRC corner lights/brake lights/wings/quarters/door cards/window regulators/tinted glass/lift gate/electrics. Prices vary.
Also a set of 5 freestyles with BFG 235/85LT16 AT's. Asking $500
Let me know what your looking for. I'm motivated to clear out some space.
