I would be interested in a motor pulled out of a running disco or defender with all the ancillaries but it must be coupled with an Ashcroft rebuilt defender R380 with the bellhousing.

I'll take an engine as long as the rest of the truck is wrapped around it.

Hell, I'd even be tempted to stick on in the garage for safe keeping. Julian...I say load up a damn shipping container and get them over here, we'll move them ALL!

Chapman is going to have his work cut out for him with $1000 installs.

prices are being worked out in Sterling £!. Prices will be lowered once we start to see volume. Shipping not included in the prices. Customers can either ship individually or leave the Units with us untill we have sold enough to fill a container, which i will get Doug C to organise.

For a take out 300tdi with an R380 take out gearbox and LT230 transferbox, gearbox crossmember, takeout radiator and intercooler, take out fan shroud. price £1800 plus shipping. (please state defender or Disco 1 when ordering)

Prices for recon 300tdi/200tdi to follow

Prices for recon R380 boxes to follow.

We can also offer TD5 units and 2.4tdci units as take out.

If you want an ashcroft box go to ashcroft, we have our own gearbox reconditioners and don't sell ashcrofts boxes as we can't make any money on them!

Probably best to stick with a 20ft box. Thats room for a lot of engines. If I'm to be involved in shipping or entry lets speak off line. One of the NE vendors active on this board will agggresively attempt to submarine this.

Well I guess I'd be in for a RRC/D1 300tdi and slushbox for the loob. And I'll need a RRC rad/IC as well as a Defender one.

Before you do td5s and tdcis, I would check with dan to make sure he can rebuild and install those too. I would assume it would only add 25 to 50 pounds respectively.

On a non mocking note, in the new rn mag, a new 300tdi long block is 8000 bucks.

It's kind of a running gag with the Cali bunch regarding Dan's opinion of a recently advertised Rover project vehicle.
