3.9 engine parts FOC

Just about ready to pull the old 3.9 out my truck, anyone want anything off it as the blocks going to be recycled into a coffee table over winter

5.3 sounds a little bulky and everybody's doing it these days, why not try a turbo v6 from a 90's Pontiac? Then you can tell us all if it's worth the price of the adapter.

My wife has decided she wants to do a demolition derby. If I can build a cage that will save the engine and won't get the car disqualified, I think a Grand Prix will be the car to take the compact class at the Rockingham County Fair!

Maybe because there was no turbo Pontiac in the 90's? You must mean 80's.

'99 Chev pick-up truck, high mileage but I get the lot for 200 bones

The thinking behind swapping in the Vortec is to keep things simple & easy (read local) spares availablity plus most of the local wheelers drive some form of GM.

Everyone who's PM'd about parts, will work on shipping costs later this week (have family over on holiday at present).... rest of the engine & trans has gone for scrap now.
