3.9 and r-380

Getting ready to upgrade my 94 d90 to 4.6 and zf auto.

Will be pulling out a pretty strong 3.9 with about 94k miles and an r-380
setup if anyone thinks they will be needing it send me a pm/email
I am trying to leave the engine as complete as possible.
But right now you can drive it and see how you like it.
Not sure on timeframe at this point

Thanks
Bryan

tranny is strong, just need to go slow into second.
Not sure of a price yet, I want to see what I will need to do the swap before I commit to a price.
How are those shocks/springs I sold you last year
working out?
Anyone know a fair price?

Hi Bryan,

I just purchased Gary Young's R-380 listed on this board for $800. Depending upon condition and mileage they're seen often between $500-$1000. The 3.9 prices are all over the map primarily dependent upon mileage (and vintage). I think Pendy might have a handle on the engine market pricing.

get a few of the isolator rings to balance.

They are the "matched set" from EE, should be close......
