3.5L Rover engine - Free

I have a 3.5 taking up space in my garage and would be happy if someone would come and take it away. It was originally from a 1984 Range Rover but has spent the last 10 yrs in my 109. I had it mated to a 4-cyl LT77 with a Milner adapter and as such it has had about 1/2" cut off the back of the crank. Mileage is about 175k and it is tired and worn out... definitely not something you want to drop in your truck as is. Maybe it could be useful as parts for a front cover conversion? I am not interested in parting it out - it will need to be taken whole. Pick-up only in RI. Also, the distributor shown in the photo is not included.

If you end up parting it out I would be interested in the valve covers. I am too far away to pick up the entire engine.

If it has the old style exhaust manifolds, I need those.

It has whatever manifolds were stock on an '84 RR - not sure if those are considered old or new style though. Come pick it up, price is right, I will even help you load it

I can't pick it up (note I have been trying to give away some 3.9s for a year), but if someone takes it I could use them.
