Disco TDI have a bad rap. A total PITA but if you take a video of it running, get some compression stats and provide pics and descriptions of what's included I bet it'll help. A full disco kit with radiator and electric fan configured, hoses, pipes and a fresh air system all figured out will help the unsuspecting. I learned the hard way but nobody should have to recreate the wheel.

From what I have discussed with Rick it's a pretty complete list for install. Sure he can chime in when he has time to compile a "list" of what's included.

If Coyote didn't have a perfectly good 4.0 in her I'd seriously consider this and put it back in a Disco!

Well....being that I am no longer living where the motor is located...it might be a couple of days until I can get there to go through the stuff that came with the motor. There is no electric fan, just the standard. When I picked it up ,condition of sale, I was assured that all was there. Also...being that I haven't studied the 200tdi install procedure, I have been told that it would be no issue putting this in a 110.
Either way.....due to circumstances and "down sizing".....I need to move this. As for pics.....its a very clean 2000tdi on a pallet.
Any other questions....please pm as I get them on my phone......

Rick, if it would be helpful, I'd be happy to walk any potential buyers through the general process. Given this unit didn't come out of the 110 it will take some steps and some tweaking to get it to go in right. For instance the standard fan will not line up in a Defender so most go to an electric fan. I made plenty of mistakes along the way that cost me time that I'm happy to share with guys interested in saving some effort.

Clay

Why are you getting rid of it? i thought you were going to drop it into your 110? Sticking with the 2.5N/A?
I'm surprised no one has grabbed it yet.

Yes, 200 tdi came out from defender and has all the parts to bolt in to defender and Doug imported it. Engine was running fine before taking off, PO converted back to 2.5 diesel for US entry and at that time I have defender 110 2.5 diesel that I'm planning for 200 tdi conversion so I bought the engine from UK then shipped it to CT but I sold my truck before Doug or Mike from North America Overland will do the conversion then Rick bought it from me and picked it up from CT.
