2003 Disco breaking for parts

It only has around 75K miles. I believe the color is called Oslo Blue. Most of the body and interior is in very good condition. It's in my garage in Chevy Chase MD and for the most part I'd prefer it if you come and remove the parts yourself rather than me sending them to you. As a rough guide, expect to pay around 10-20% of what a new part would cost but I won't refuse any reasonable offers.

For the next week or so it will be on the lift in my garage. After that I expect to move it onto a split deck trailer. I'd like to keep it "moveable" until I can figure out how I'm going to get rid of anything that I can't sell (i.e. no removing the axles unless you're prepared to take the whole shell away with you.)

The following are already sold:
Motor
Transmission
Transfer case
Wheels
Front and Rear Bumpers
Headlights
Radio

Email or PM me about anything that you're interested in.

Thanks
- Mat Moran

What happened that it's no longer a functional driving car?

Probably the head gaskets.

Also, some '03 models had issues with the oil pump.

It was running fine but my 110 needs the motor and transmission. My children learned to drive in the DII but they both eventually bought other cars so I don't need it any more. Sadly, the resale value is only about the same as it would cost me to buy a good motor and transmission for my 110.

I'll post pictures of the interior tomorrow. Unfortunately the plate that should tell me the interior color code is missing. It's a kind of light brown or sand color.

Thanks! Too bad (for me) it's beige.

I've been looking for a while for some black trim panels for my '03..

Have you researched putting that trans in a 110...trans is electronically controlled and Shift points are taken from speed which is taken via abs speed sensors.. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong... Seems a lot of computer controlled components needed to adapt...

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't know for sure so didn't say anything. But that does sound right...

I'm planning to use one of these:

A bit expensive but should be fairly easy.
