200 TDI "kit" with 5 speed L77/LT230 for sale

I recently bought this "kit" from Zak Mosier in Portland to install in my newly acquired 88" Series 2A, but decided to keep the vehicle stock after all.
Before I made that decision, I also bought parts from RDS that will be included as well as a Defender exhaust manifold from Paddocks to raise the turbo away from the frame.
Essentially, this is a ready-to-go 200 TDI, L77 trans with LT230 transfer case and less than 90,000 miles (this is per Zak Mosier at Zombie Motors). It includes the shorty Defender bellhousing, the radiator and the intercooler.
What I paid: $4,500 for the "kit", plus $450+ to RDS (picture of invoice on unopened box below) plus approximately $200 to Paddocks or $5,150 total.
I'll sell for $4,500 plus shipping. I'll put everything on a pallet (ship RDS stuff separately) for pickup or shipping. I'm in southern Oregon.

It is a bolt-in for a 2.25 litre motor in a Series 109", D90 or D110. I think that is also true for Defenders with 2.5 litre diesel or 2.5 turbo diesel.
You will have to move the transmission mounts in a Series vehicle.
As many have done, you can also install it in a RRC or early Discovery but there is more work involved.
While it will bolt right into a Series 88" you will have a short rear driveshaft.

Yes, and thanks again.
Emailed Turner Manufacturing and it turns out the motor has the gas flowed heads and the 2.5 litre cam. It did seem to pull much better than any 2.25 I remember.
I now have the entire front end off - cleaning and detailing the motor, sandblasting and painting all the rusted areas. Just had the inside of the doors and bulkhead sandblasted too.
Looking for a good painter to spray some parts and since I've gone this far maybe paint the entire vehicle.

Clark

I'm not sure on the T-case ratio. Came from a Disco so I'm assuming a 1.22 rather than a 1.4.

Just wanted to be clear about the term "bolt-in.
The motor does bolt right in and all the parts necessary for the swap should be included, but you will need to make some modifications:
Remove the existing battery and air cleaner holder so the front right portion of the motor will clear. You'll probably use a 200 TDI air cleaner anyway.
Remote the battery under the driver's seat - Defender style
Build a frame for the radiator and intercooler or use a stock radiator and a full width aftermarket intercooler from eBay. That's what Roverhybrids did when Shane swapped the V8 for a 300 TDI in my D90.
Change the "ignition" wiring to a diesel.
There will be other issues that I don't know about - I never made the swap - but that is the fun/challenge/creative part of doing a swap.
Someone asked what I'd sell the motor with ancillaries and the appropriate parts from the RDS box for. Answer: $3,800 plus shipping.
