1988 Rover Classic RPI 4.6 V8 20k miles D90 conversion? $4500.00
Parts vehicle. Has the Defender 90 LT230 style transfer case used by Rover in the Classics until 1989. Accordingly, the ZF 4HP22 automatic transmission and LT230 transfer case will bolt up to any Defender 90's Rover V8 to convert to automatic transmission. The engine is the RPI 4.6 high performance engine from Europe. 272 HP, 270 torque. It has less than 20k miles. The rest of Rover as 120k. Has the 14CUX computer and the Tornado chip as well. Engine runs great but has been sitting for two years. The fuel line is leaking but the engine can be started. Comes with late model 4.6 factory tubular headers in excellent condition. Also comes with brand new Mallory Unilite distributor for the Rover. Body is a rough and the frame is a rust bucket but it does have four alloy Defender 90 wheels in good condition. I'm keeping the title so Bill of Sale only (I am a licensed Arizona Attorney).
The Engine alone would cost 10k from Europe excluding the computer and chip.
