110 Roof Rack RURR Only

Helping to sell this for a friend. Looks like a G4 rack. Pretty good shape comes with rear ladder. He's looking to get $1500 but I will pass all offers forward.

I am moving from Enterprise Alabama to NYC in about three weeks and will happily RURR it to an exit of your choosing along the way. I'll be in a Uhaul with a trailer so I don't want to wander too far off course. Have to close a deal before next friday or I won't be able to help RURR.

I will post a separate RURR thread when I have solid dates on the move for any other stuff you guys might need moved.

Oscar

Any idea if this rack will fit an older 110 with a ribbed roof? It looks like the 110 in the photos has the newer smooth roof.

I know the SD cages will not fit with a ribbed roof...

Not an sd rack. Appears to be the land rover version.

sjpin,

Miller was here the other day and his opinion was that it would not clear his ribbed roof.

It's an OE LR rack.

PMs answered.

Awesome deal for a great rack and RURR too! I would have been all over this a year ago but got mine already through Justin! Bump for a super opportunity on a genuine LR rack ...

Oem is not safety devices. Land rover uses another company for their racks. The true safety devices g4 rack is not the same as the g4 rack that land rover used. If you look at them side by side they are different.

BUMP to answer some of the questions and help someone get a great rack at a fair price:
  • OEM G4 style is not made by SD - we get them from TerraFirma and are in the LR ACC box/labels/instruction
  • will not clear ribbed roof (nominal ~1" of roof clearance)
  • they run ~$2k new after the cost of freight to the states and are not crated for shipping outside of a container (add crating/truck charges) For folks on the west coast, we can get this same 110 rack, and also the 90 version

Not very heavy and an awesome rack - ask me how I like mine…

Thanks for all the info guys.

Here is a mock up of where the ribbed roof would interfere with the rack. Still up for grabs.

Break out the grinder and it'll fit fine.
