110 Camper Top for Sale

So, I do not know the back story of this top too much. Came on a ROW 110 that got refurbished locally - owner was going to throw it away - I took it thinking I might build a kid playhouse with it.

Some guys have seen it and told me someone might be able to use it.

The sides are made of wood with some sort of liner that is peeling off.

Its interesting - Ill let it go for my cost $550. Very heavy.

I tried to open it up but its not a job for one man.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Harold

The pictures show the roof lying flat, but none opened in an expanded "propped-up camping position".
So we see it pictured it layind down.
What does it look like in the camping popped up, or opened up position!
This is not shown in the pictures.

I tried but the only way to do it would be to place it on some sort of support cause is have to open it from underneath.

I just couldn't do it by myself. The small rectangular Windows pop up to form the sides of the camper.

Hope that help. It would be great if someone could use this - if not, I'm building an epic play house for my kids.....

ah this would be great for making a 110 into a camper conversion, or for a long term trip to central and south america. If i was in the states I would be very tempted to take this and use it for a trip in central america.

What is the extra height gained dimensionally?

Difficult to be sure but looks like a hard sided magolina type of unit. EU flag on the rear.

I remember that top. It was on a car that was for sale by a dealer (NC, maybe?), IIRC, but was a bit rotted (doors, etc.).

Here are all the photos I saved of it:

Hope this helps

Glad to help

I sure wanted one. Just couldn't justify the price of the car to get it...

Searched and searched and searched all over the UK to see if I could find out who makes it and try to get one. The closest I got was that it was some sort to rent-a-camper and was not a production item

Ended up getting a tall(er) ambulance roof instead. Wish I had known about those Marshall ambulance bodies, too. That might have been the ticket.

Good luck !

I'm confused. Does this camper top have a floor to it that can be removed, or flips out of the way. In one picture, she is standing up in the back, but the other one is showing the sleeping bag in what looks to be the top part. How would you get in it? Next spring we were planning a trip to Big Ben National Park and I had grand ambitions of putting my wife and 3 kids in the bottom half, kissing them goodnight, then going up to the penthouse for some peace and quiet.

So... How hard is this thing to install? How heavy? I assume you would rig up some kind of hardtop hoist in the garage to keep it out of the way / drop it on the truck when needed. Then, what do you do? I've never taken a top off of a 110. How long would it take to remove the existing top, then bolt this monstrosity down. Are there any modifications that need to be made to the chassis on a 1988 110?

I live in Austin and am interested. How would this be shipped to 78732 and what is the potential cost?

People

It's 300 dollars.

You get what my photos show. Probably needs some work. No guarantees that it is water tight, opens well, functions properly or all pieces are there, etc.

$300 bucks....seriously

I can help someone pick it up but I can't take it anywhere or pack it up.
