NOS, these were display units. Not in perfect shape but never installed and half price with free shipping. They are machined aluminum with new steel bolts.

$50 (When doing paypal, DON'T categorize as a gift, that saves a couple bucks on the fees and then costs me more to ship)

How does sending PayPal as a Gift have anything to do with shipping cost?

If the funds are sent as a gift, it does not allow the seller to ship utilizing PayPal's discounted shipping function. Furthermore, it requires the seller make effort to collect the shipping information from the buyer, then load it into another system (USPS/FedEx/UPS) to ship or have to fill it out when dropping off. They took less than 2 bucks out of my account for the spacers and that's more than worth it to be able to just click a couple buttons and print a label off using paypal funds.

I didn't realize PayPal had a discounted shipping rate. Is that with UPS or USPS? $5.15 for a small USPS flat rate is hard to beat.

USPS is pretty much the same rate, UPS was 15%+ cheaper through PayPal when I sold some a mess of parts on here last time. For me, the time I save by not having to enter recipients shipping info is worth PayPal's cut alone.

You can get the same discount even if you don't ship using PayPal. You just have to associate you UPS account with the PayPal code. Yes it's a little more work but Im cheap so I'd rather save the 3% on the PayPal fee. Which can add up with higher $ items. $30 saved on a locker will almost pay for the shipping in some cases.

What you say is true but I think it is worth pointing out here that the seller has indicated that he will absorb the paypal fees so it isn't really for you or us to worry about in this particular instance.

In addition, he is saying that the time saved via paypal's one-push label creation outweighs the cost difference of the paypal fees and or shipping discounts.

When you're doing alot of shipping it really eats up alot of time populating the label fields.

No, correction. It eats up a metric shit ton of time that often makes it not worth even selling a small low-cost item when you could be doing something else.

Cheers,
