Wtb: Nas 110

Looking for a nice truck with a good title. Should be pretty corrosion free. Don't mind making some mechanical repairs and performing service. I'd also consider a D90 with an auto in blue, black, or green with less than 80k miles. Thanks.

Mods, feel free to move if this is in the wrong section. Everything I saw in the WTB section was for parts.

Tyler, just curious about why specifically a NAS 110?

Because they're cool trucks and they're good property. I've had a lot of cars over the years so my time horizon is never long (usually 6 months to two years - longer in a few cases). Selling a no stories NAS 110 at a fair market price will never be a problem.

Agreed, they are cool and unlikely to suddenly develop massive depreciation.
I was thinking as the NAS get older, they're bound to develop the same issues as any older Rover, and with the influx of legal ROW 110's, I would imagine one could source a sound ROW, then build-to-suit the needs for similar or not much more money.
Thanks for the reply!

This thread can also be titled as "I'm willing to spend $80K or more for a defender 110"
For a NAS 110 in that condition it will probably be around that price, if not higher.
Hope you find a good one!

Just thinking out loud here but we are pretty close to importing a 1993 Defender so I wonder if the NAS value will continue to hold?
A 1991 and soon 1992 tdi Defender is going for at least $40K less and sometimes better shape.
I know lots of people want the limited NAS model with it's special features but I think the same year ROW would be the same truck for normal use.
Good luck in your search!

The ROW means more people can own old Rovers IMO. A healthy 1/500 NAS 110 will always demand more than a 1/2,000,000 ROW.

Elbee; feel free to rename the thread if you like. Do you have such a truck?

Negative. I do not have the coin to fund that sort of venture.

I agree. Firmly believe NAS will continue to appreciate.

I wasn't trying to hijack or dissuade your pursuit of a NAS 110! I was just curious......
