Haha true...I thought you may have been just busting balls! I did neglect to mention that even my R380 is crunchy and my A/C doesn't work anyhow.

Here's a 1997 for $26k Buy it Now. Looks like it was "overturned" in 2002 (does that mean flipped over?), it shows some rust issues (doors, rear crossmember, and probably a few more) a few dings, plus it looks like the owner listens to Widespread Panic, but aside from that it looks like it's been a driver its whole life - plus it's not that terrible 1994 year.

1997 Beluga Black Land Rover Defender
I hate to part with this vehicle, but i recently had my third child and it is a luxury i can no longer afford.

HISTORY: It's in great condition for a vehicle of this age. It has some minor dents and dings, but nothing major. It has been rolled by a previous owner, but you wouldn't know by looking. No structural damage. There are a few minor rust spots ( I will show in picks). The top is in great shape. I also have a bikini top i purchased brand new that has been used once. Tires have plenty of tread on them. I replaced the stereo with a brand new marine deck and 4 new marine speakers. I also added diamond cheque on the bottom of the vehicle as well. Interior is in great shape. My friend is a mechanic and he has done regular oil changes and checkups over the time i have had this D90. Overall, this vehicle is a real gem.

SHIPPING: Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Feel free to ask any questions. I will answer with the promptness and honesty. I will also take any and all picks that you are interested in.

Vehicle is purchased as is.

Wow - $26k for 135k miles, rotted doors and rear cross member (and probably the complete frame), and a rollover? Run away from this one.

Saw that last night - it has also been on autotrader for a while now too. Pass for me given that it was rolled - also given that it's been for sale for a while I'm guessing there are some issues.

You two both responded while I was editing.

I wonder if it was rolled all the way over or just on its side? If all the way over, if it still has the original cage, or if they replaced it, if the original if it has chunks missing from it from the rollover, etc. Also yeah no fram pics.

I've talked to the owner. A super nice guy. It sounds like it has quite a history. A rollover. A side impact. And possible flooding. -- he wouldn't budge from $26k. Sounds like that is what he owes on it so he was sticking to it.

This truck recently came back up for sale:
Before:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=23955

Went from $25k (probably sold for $22k back then), went to Red Mountain Rovers who listed it for $29k from what I remember, now listed today for $33k, with some interesting wheel choice - easily removed, though. It looks like they may have "repaired" the 2-3 large holes that were on the passenger side door and tub, and driver tub.

After:

I'm assuming they're real beadlocks and not the faux type then.

Still actively looking elsewhere but would love to buy one from a D90 member so any of you with 95/97 STs that would consider selling give me a shout.

JQ11 have you had much luck in the Southeast area? I am formally from Shelby, NC and I am also actively looking for a 95 Wagon and having very little luck. Prices on ebay are ridiculous and if you look at the completed items, its obvious some are dreaming.

I actually have had luck in that I bought the 97 Black ST in Wilmington posted last week on D90 - I'll PM you some others I was considering.
