Winter beater 97 Disco 1

$1k. This is a great winter beater for cheap. I bought it for my daughter but she stole my p38. 247k miles, this truck runs great, its the best driving LR we own (we all prefer it over the 03')OME 2.5" lift OME shocks. ARB from bumper (guards are rusty but the rest of the bumper is solid) TJM rear bumper, needs a paint job. It has typical Disco rust and dents and scratches from wheeling. I bought this off a local guy who kept on top of everything. Getting rid of all our LR stuff, no longer a mechanic and have nowhere to fiddle with these things. I really enjoy this truck, just don't need it anymore.

But that's what you do!

Anyway, back to your thread. Seems perfect for a H.S. kid's first car (except the lift). I'll pass this along. GLWS

Ainsley.

I know... I enjoyed it especially the Ferrari's. But when it turned into a daily grind money machine it turned me off. I'm making commercials and movies now. Much happier, especially the many days in between, it suits my need for family time.

Am I the only one surprised that Pedro hasn't tried to buy this?

He is just pissed it is too late to make Dan drive it down when he came to pick up Dro's white disco.

2 weeks earlier and Pedro would have a color change and fifteen hundred bucks to buy fire wood to keep the dog house warm.

How rusty is rusty? Will it pass inspection another year?

I don't know how tight Maine is on inspections, but I have an "in" here in MA for them. If they don't open the rear doors its fine. Isn't maine pretty loose? I'll deliver it within reason. Deposit first. I will be going to York Beach in the next week or so. Before Christmas.

Hmmm.

Frame rot, brake lines and obvious floor and body mount issues are what they care about.

I'm headed to PA the 19th or so for the holidays. If you still have it on the way home I may have to stop in.
