BTT, sorry the wife isn't happy with the D90.

Samething happened in 1999 to me. We sold the D90 SW and I hated it to the day.

Finally in 2006 a life altering experience helped a low milage D90 come back in to the family.

My only point is, just because your wife doesn't like it, does not justify getting rid of it. IMHO

That is a nice LR. The next D-90's that come in to the states will not look like that.

Good luck

I think your significant other is concerned she will lose you to Lara Croft (or has she already.)

Follow-up Post:

Or is she Lara Croft?

Bummer dude,

What if you suggest that you both go to therapy first, before she suggests such a huge change, or suggest a trial seperation, you send the car to live in your buddy's driveway until she sees that you have become inconsolable and lets you bring it back home again. If that does not work then offer to have a vasectomy...then cry...then beg, then start packing your shit into the D90 and tell her that you are just going out to get a paper, drive in diapers straight to Moab or the Rubicon. Wheel the shit out of the thing for two weeks straight. Have the reminents of what's left towed home and park it in the middle of the front yard driping with mud, oil and dirt, put a for sale sign on it and tell her that you appreciate her understanding and that you have gotten that out of your system and that she was right.

Ken;

I am in Colorado Springs. I would say don't sell it. It is like selling your Harley or getting rid of your dog because the wife is not happy, not a good idea. Then you are without your toy if she goes away, which I have seen happen too often. But I am in the market. I work at the Land Rover dealer in town. PM me if you want to chat about it.

Hey,

I say we lay off Ken.

We all would love not to sell our trucks.......and we all have exact reason that should never be the cause.......It is very hard to understand the EXACT reason for Ken selling his truck. There are many reasons that his wife may want to sell - He may have decided the need to sell it too........and was trying to be light-hearted about it.

Ken probably loves his D-90. He probably feels bad about this. Perhaps he will buy another one in a few years. I don't think we should make him want to leave the page - or not want to be part of the page again.

KEN - I hope you find a way to hang on to your D-90, or perhaps get another one someday. And I hope you loved the truck while you had it........
