I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

I 'spect I aught to clarify.
If someone were to give me a good offer on the "five door" part of the truck (bulkhead back) I would consider taking it apart.
Otherwise it should stay together, it took me a long time to put it together

Still have the disco you converted to td5 ? You have been wanting to build a tray back 90 for a long time now.

You're right I've wanted a tray fro a while, I have that last yellow pickup I could use or the red one and just sell off the yellow one.
We still have the TD5 D1. It's gotta have a quarter million miles on it now!

Not sure about the engine just yet, I do love the TDI and the best one ever is in the red truck!
Who knows... Maybe a 4BT.
