For all of you that are a little weary of dealing with a overseas seller, don't be. He is a honest, and good person. I have done a lot of business with him.
Stephan, good find, GLWTS.

Couple of pic's of V8 Hi Cap now available.

Hi Guys,
I have just viewed and now bought the 1986, Hi Cap110 V8.It is an Ex UK Fire service vehicle, and appears to have an excellant no rust chassis and bulkhead, and a low mileage original engine with 79,065 miles on odometer.
Will reply to all interested parties over next few days,as i have a new computer, new camera to adjust to, and had a long 12 hr day today.(to include the 180miles journey, at last minute,to view and buy just before darkness and with the UK crowded roads, near freezing =horrible conditions + add in $10 a gallon for diesel,-Thats UK at present for you!) Roll on next trip to warm Florida
Thanks Abe, for your recommendation commentsI have been in business for 30 yrs both in USA and UK and have never knowingly ever ripped anyone off, with price or mis-described.AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW JOB !!!!

I will sell anything

Hell, Do you want the shirt off my back? If you want some UK plates, i can get them made up for you, just send me a PM as i can sell you any plates you want, with whatever you want,so long as it is no more than the normal digit max of qty 7, they range from approx £17.00=$23.00 a plate depending on style,But originals off this truck,i had better not,---- unless the new USA owner does not require them. Then its OK,i will deal with you.
*However, its not like USA+DMV ,i can get the local motor factor shop to stamp me some more up.Even in any configuration you require ? now thats a thought - - who wants personalised UK reg plates, in any shape or size or colour so long as its UK road legal, then i can get them for you,at a reasonable price.=£17.00 +Postage to USA,which is approx £10.00,but let me check rates. (every cent helps for my Real Ale funds), ((and, i do really like my real ole English Ale !!!))

No, I found a place to get reproduction plates, I just saw them-front and rear-and thought I'd ask since they are "real"

I am only having a laugh.

joking aside, I can help anyone get UK plates if they wish. They are not issued as such, by UK Government, like USA.So you can get them stamped up by other parties. So long as they are not supposedly used for UK road use,. but they are actually the same item,do you know what I meam? .

You are commenting about series 3 stage 1 production numbers in his for sale thread ?
I still don't get it.

Stephan where is the truck located ? I have gotten a couple requests for all in quotes. Are you able to deliver it to Liverpool ?

More pics of Hi Cap available

Hi Guys,
I have just taken some 20 pic's of the Hi Cap.And got a verification from landrover, that it was definately made as a V8 5 spd Hi Cap, and actual date of build is 17-10-1985.The chassis is super clean and it has only had one small welded plate put on it in its life, and that is on drivers footwell(of which the weld could be tidyed up a bit).It currently has a proffessionally installed Propane Gas conversion also.Which allows both regular Gas to be used OR Propane,It runs well on both fuels. I will most likely remove the Gas conversion and tank (situated in rear cargo deck, near rear bulkhead),as I do not think the shipping lines will like this, due to fire/explosive/risk.
* If anyone wishes to ensure a trouble free shipping/transit of this truck to USA,please consider Uncle Doug,as he is very experienced in the paperwork side of importation. And i believe he is the #1 authority on this matter.
Here are few,i will either load more later,or send directly to interested parties. I have had a lot of interest in this, and should really take them in order of being received.
Favouritism may then be given to the first person, who sujjests they have available funds. So that i can go find some more quickly!! (- after i crawl away from the Christmas Pudding, which is dowsed in a very strong Brandy sauce,Nomar)
I will be back on line in a few hours.I have some work to do now.

Cool truck, any evidence of the original red paint under that blue (engine compartment, footwells, etc)? Any idea which area/Fire & rescue department it served in?
