Rick, I am sorry to hear about your dealings with Harrison imports. I am local and if there is anything I can do please let me know. I would be willing to go to the lot and look for your D-90. I know they have two other lots one in Salt Lake City and one off of 9000 S. I will keep my eyes open when I drive by the lots. If there is anything I can do I would be willing to help you out. I do hope you get your D-90 back soon and in good condition. Please do keep us updated and let us know what happens. PM me and I will give you my cell # if you need it.

Russ

Hey no worries bro. Glad you got your cash...that is pretty fugged up. As for meeting up, is this the personals now too? Actually, I will help you with spelling if I can stay in one of those vacation homes for a while, and maybe a test drive of the AMG.

email and phone call with

I guess our poster is real and he is definitely a native. Here is email to me:

"realy ? my company gossed over 10 million last year. i would be willing to bet i could buy you
you peice of fuck i travel a lot so call me if you have the back bone lets meet up.
realy im not just talk .
307-354-6491

Being curious I called him.
Most of the conversation was him threatening me and making up wild money figures on his trucking business. He seems to be a guy with some very worrying emotional problems.
Because of these posts he wants to know my address so he can fly here and kick my ass. He moaned about how badly he wanted to do that.
He isn't insulted about his grammar/spelling/etc. - it is his ability to buy the various vehicles. That why I'm the target.
Oh well.

Jim C.....

Do we want this kind of guy on the Forum?

Follow-up Post:

Just Googled his company (Tubular Transport) and his name, Rick Norton and the only hit I got was this site.

http://www.muleyfanatic.com/members.html

When I clicked to it I got a Malware Advisory from Google and Yahoo.

Better stop now Rick....
What you have said is libelous and untrue.
It is in print and deliberately designed to ruin my reputation.
Stop now and I won't consult our office in Wyoming for a good attorney. Continue and I will.

Clark I am no lawyer but I don't think it counts unless he spells it correctly.

So anyway, congrats on the sale. It was one of my favorite ones I've see so far, and that interior was pretty sick. Hope you made out well on the sale...were they able to get the Buy it Now for it?

Wow, I go away for a day to take a couple finals and I come back to a practical brouhaha. I ask that you keep the discussion friendly here, and would remind all parties that honest skepticism is a perfectly reasonable (and protected!) form of speech, while fighting words are not (reasonable or protected).

Re: spelling errors.

A good friend of mine is referred to as 'The Windtyper' in our little circle. A Navajo codetalker whose father was a British cypher expert and whose mother was a Nazi Enigma machine couldn't figure out what he was saying a good portion of the time.

At the same time he was learned and good-humored in person.

He just couldn't type worth a damn and didn't proof his messages.

And he didn't risk libel suits in a desire to 'kick someone's ass'.

Rick, you may be a millionaire but you type like a 2nd grader with low-grade mental retardation. No slight meant; just stating what any honest person would say is true. Read your posts out loud if you doubt me.

As soon as someone starts the "I'll kick your ass over the internet" comments, they immediately lose any credibilty with me. Does that matter? Nope.

It's a bit like the bullies at school.

Them: "I'll kick your ass."

Me: "Okay. I'm waiting."

Crickets chirp.

Hey bitching is bitching. I know it can be entertaining, but I think it has gone too far. Time to boot this person, unless he can behave himself. No, I'll correct myself- remove him.
