Then I keep on getting the 'I forgot to bid last night but will you take a higher than sale price offer now?' My first few sales on ebay were great, perfect buyers but I'm running into morons lately.

New price on the blue one is 11.5k! This offer is valid for the next 3 or 4 days till I place my order for panels and parts from Paddock, once I order parts then it will be getting painted and a few panels replaced.

Ebay isn't the market authority on defender sales, if nobody bids on a NR auction a vintage Ferrari might only reach 20k, doesn't mean that's what it's worth.

fine but why not offer it here for the closing bid price? After all you were willing to let it go to an ebay bidder for that amount, why not offer it up to the community here at the same price? Hell, the DRO paid more than that for one of your non-runners!

Exactly. It would have sold for $9401 on EBay so why make a board member pay a penny more? Brett is looking for a sub $10k Defender. Quick sale and no commission unless you want to throw a couple of bucks my way for putting you two together.

My car my price. Just because I made a mistake once by listing it for no reserve doesn't obligate me to keep on making the same mistake. Its the cheapest LHD D90 in the country despite the bodywork it needs, which is not even that bad. I don't import these for zero return, 'because a board member is looking for sub 10k defender', well he can import one himself and it will be RHD even then. You guys are ridiculous, if you don't like the price then don't comment. You can't bully someone into giving their vehicle away, I'm sure its against board rules. I regret selling the white one as cheap as I did but since the buyer didn't back out I have to sell it, doesn't mean I will offer it up here for the same price if he did back out. I'm done listing cars here.

Seeing this burning bridge feels about right. The 2 or 3 shit boxes I've seen you post probably won't be missed much anyway.

Why are you guys slamming a sellers price? thats a privately negotiated task and not on a for sale thread...he can sell for whatever to whom ever just because you don't like it doesn't make him wrong.

I brought that up in another thread a few weeks back but apparently the rules have changed and it is ok to shit on people's for sale threads now.

The arrogance of many on here lately is trash and turning me off from what used to be a decent community. Most people that talk all the shit aren't even buying they just stir the pot.

That couldn't be more true. Also look at the number of posts by those people....1000's upon 1000's. It is also very selective moderation by the 'moderators'.

Its funny though as I have sold a number of trucks to folks here who are happy customers that have better things to do than sling poop around at others....

The criticism does seem harsh, he is bringing in LHD 90's that are priced reasonably and described accurately.
